A Big Thank You to Old Greenwood

Imagine…half the Town of Truckee stretched out and relaxing on Old Greenwood’s meticulously designed Jack Nicholas Signature Golf Course with the Sierra Nevada Mountains, blue sky and pine trees as the backdrop and KENNY LOGGINS singing to his heart’s content. It felt good to hear the old and familiar songs like Footloose, Danger Zone, This is it and Celebrate Me Home. Kenny Logggins, now 60 years old, has been sharing his music for 4 decades. What a great late afternoon event. Thank you Old Greenwood.

Squaw Valley & Alpine Meadows

Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows are two of the four dominant downhill ski areas in the Truckee / North Lake Tahoe area. Each mountain is special in its own way and each mountain appeals to a different type of skier.

Glenshire, Juniper Hills, The Meadows & Cambridge Estates

Located six miles East of Truckee, Glenshire is the community that many families choose as their place to call home. It is a warm and friendly community with close to 1,500 residences and is a favorite among young families and first time home buyers. The Glenshire amenities include a clubhouse, swimming pool, barbecue area,  gazebo, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, a lake with a lakeside trail and a fun playground. All this and 200 plus acres of greenbelt. There is plenty of room to roam in Glenshire.

Juniper Hills and The Meadows, both near Glenshire, are gated acreage communities that are zoned for horses. Beautiful mountains, tranquil settings and awesome views describe this special area. It’s out of the way but not too far away! Cambridge Estates shares similar attributes but is not a gated community.
