Women’s Intermediate Skate Clinic: Taught by PSIA level III instructor JoJo Toeppner on Thursday, February 12. Cost: $35. This clinic is part of Women’s Month at Tahoe Donner Cross Country.

Intermediate to Advanced Skate Clinic: Taught by “Great Race” winner Dave McLaughlin on Saturday, February 14 at 10 a.m. Cost: $35.

Swix Wax Clinic: Saturday, February 14 at 2 p.m. This is a free clinic that will be held in the Locker Room.

Nordic Ski Club News. On Sunday, January 11 the Nordic Ski Club enjoyed a night of food, fun, and laughter at the first pot-luck of the season, with more than 20 members attending. Upcoming events include a get together at the Euer Valley Cookhouse on Valentine’s Day and a weekend get-away at Lost Trail Lodge on Friday, March 27 – Sunday, March 29. Come join us. Valentine’s Day Snowshoe Hike. Join us for a Full Moon Snowshoe Hike on Saturday, February 14 from 4 – 6:30 p.m. Take in the amazing views of Tahoe Donner and Truckee. Cost is $7.50 per person. Be sure to bring your own snowshoes (snowshoes may be rented at local businesses Will’s Market or The Sports Exchange). Meet at Trout Creek Recreation Center. Pre-registration is required by calling Trout Creek Recreation Center at (530) 587-9437. Participants will receive a coupon for free dessert with purchase of an entrée valid at The Lodge for Valentine’s Day dinner.

Tennis Anyone?. The Tahoe Donner Tennis Center is now taking sign-ups for the United States Tennis Association (USTA) league tennis season. The USTA regular season will begin in April and runs through June with possible post season play in July and August. The registration deadline is in early March and space is limited. The Tahoe Donner Tennis Center is looking for men and women players ranging in ability from 3.0 to 4.5.
