Truckee has fantastic weather no matter which season you are enjoying. The average summer temperatures are between 40-79 degrees Fahrenheit while the average winter temperatures are between 17-42 degrees Fahrenheit. Snowfall in and around Truckee varies. For example we get alot of snow in parts of Tahoe Donner while we often hear Glenshire referred to as the “banana belt” because the snowfall is significantly less. On average we get a little over 200 inches of total snowfall and 32 inches of total precipitation annually. (Source: Western Regional Climate Center)
